The fellowship supports travel abroad to explore sites and collections of historical and cultural significance fundamental to the development of the American Studio Craft Movement.

Fellowship is intended to support students interested in pursuing advanced research in art and architectural history.

The conference is presented in collaboration with the Center for Craft and designed to address questions facing the preservation and legacy of the field of American Craft.
