The grant will help the Museum create a research and collection preservation center to house its growing collections and to provide improved access for students, faculty and researchers.

The department is saddened by the recent passing of Dr. Gavin Townsend (Ph.D. 1986).

The department is calling on graduate students to apply for available teaching assistantships during the 2018-2019 academic year.
