Ben Jameson-Ellsmore, a 5th year Ph,D. Candidate in the Department of History of Art and Architecture, was awarded a Steve and Barbara Mendell Graduate Fellowship in Cultural Literacy. This fellowship supports his ongoing research in American architecture and urbanism. Ben will use these funds to complete his field research at hackerspaces in Flint and Detroit, Michigan, which was interrupted due to the pandemic.
