Anna Myjak-Pycia Invited to Give Lecture at Cornell University

Anna Myjak-Pycia, Ph.D. Candidate and currently the 2015 Dean's Fellowship recipient in the History of Home Economics at Cornell University, was invited to give a public lecture, "Another Modernism: Home Economics and the Conception of Domestic Space in the United States, 1900-1960," at Cornell's Mann Library on Wednesday, March 16, 2016. Drawing on evidence from both the Home Economics movement's theory and practice, her research emphasizes the tactile aspect of the home economists' conception of domestic interior.
