High School Preparation
Recommended as part of or in addition to the UC admission requirements:
• English composition
• English literature
• Foreign language (French, German, Italian recommended)
• Western civilization.Transfer Preparation

To make normal progress in the major, complete the following courses in your first two years:
• Three courses in art history survey electives
• One year of history of western civilization (recommended)
